Classic fashion photographer Helmut Newton defied taboos and sparked controversy over the course of his career with provocative portraits of women, such as those from the Cyberwomen Portfolio. Contemporary artists Miles Aldridge and David Drebin are known for cinematic, opulent scenes centered on mysterious femme fatales, from the melancholy glamour of Drebin’s Waiting for the Call to Aldridge’s darkly dramatic A Dazzling Beauty#3.
