Foam Magazine Talents 2013 is a travelling exhibition that will be presented at ROSPHOTO in St. Petersburg, displaying the works of 13 from all over the world selected from submissions made in response to the magazine’s annual Talent Call. The results are published in the Talent Issue of Foam Magazine. The international premiere of this exhibition project will take place at ROSPHOTO.

The following photographers are presented at ROSPHOTO's exhibition halls: Jinkyun Ahn (KR), Thibault Brunet (FR), Salvi Danés (ES), Daniel Gordon (USA), Eeva Hannula (FI), Sohei Nishino (JP), Peter Puklus (HU), Augustin Rebetez (CH), Thomas Rousset (FR), Charlie Rubin (USA), Ross Sawyers (USA), Linda Voorwinde (NL) en Daisuke Yokota (JP).

The Foam Magazine Talents Call

The Foam Magazine Talents issue is designed to showcase young photographers from all over the world. It is one of the photographic industry's most prestigious contests for young photographers. It is a career building platform, helping to launch aspiring talents into the international photography industry and giving them international acclaim and recognition.The call is open to photographers under the age of 35 and of any nationality. This year’s edition had a total of 1566 submissions from 72 different countries.

The museum for photography Foam

Foam, the museum for photography in Amsterdam, focuses especially on exhibitions, publications, discussions and specific projects relevant to contemporary themes in this field. Special attention is given to nurturing upcoming artists. This is reflected in the museum’s 3h program where young and upcoming international photographers are presented, as well as the annual Paul Huf Award.

The collaboration between Foam and ROSPHOTO takes place in the light of Netherlands-Russia 2013 with the information support of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Saint-Petersburg.
