Gallery Julian Sander is very pleased to show a Retrospective of award-winning photographer Alfredo Srur. The Artist was born in Buenos Aires in 1977 and studied film production at the University of California. Since 2000 he has developed documentarian projects in Colombia, Honduras, Ecuador, Argentina, and Peru. Latin America is often described as one of the most violent regions in the world. Reasons for criminality and violence are complex, yet the urban areas characterized by their lack of law and order are specifically prone to eruptions of violence — from the bottom up and top down. The same is true for San Fernando, a district on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
