Kim Insook is a photographer and video artist based in Tokyo and Seoul. The works in this exhibition portray a girl named Ari walking through the streets of the gentrifying north-Seoul neighborhood of Seongbuk-dong. The images seem at once nostalgic and if their protagonist has arrived from the future.
