On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the next OstLicht Photo Auction will take place for the first time in cooperation with the PARALLEL VIENNA art fair at the Otto Wagner Areal. Around 280 lots will be offered for sale as part of the fair.

The auction presents an outstanding selection of works spanning the history of photography – from significant classics to contemporary artistic positions. A special focus is placed on contemporary photography and on works that offer new perspectives and invite exciting discoveries for collectors.

With OstLicht Auctions, Peter Coeln and his expert team continue the tradition of major photography auctions driven by a passion for original works, a carefully curated selection, profound knowledge of the history and significance of each individual work, and a commitment to bringing new photographic positions to the attention of collectors.

The selected works will be on view throughout the art fair at the Otto Wagner Areal from September 9, 2026. The public auction will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2 p.m. Bids may be submitted in advance, live via various online auction platforms, by telephone, or in person in the auction room.

Die nächste OstLicht Photo Auction findet am Sonntag, dem 13. September 2026 statt und wird erstmals in Kooperation mit der Kunstmesse PARALLEL VIENNA ausgerichtet. Im Rahmen der international beachteten Messe auf dem Otto-Wagner-Areal kommen rund 280 Arbeiten unter den Hammer.

Die Auktion präsentiert eine hochkarätige Auswahl von Werken quer durch die Geschichte der Fotografie – von bedeutenden Klassikern bis zu aktuellen künstlerischen Positionen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der zeitgenössischen Fotografie und auf Arbeiten, die neue Perspektiven eröffnen und spannende Entdeckungen für Sammler:innen ermöglichen.
