The photographic gallery was created in 1996 and is specialised in two fields:
1. First, photography from the thirties to sixties including prints and vintages of french and american artists (Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edouard Boubat, Frank Horvat, Diana Arbus, Leonard Freed, Elliott Erwitt, Inge Morath).
2. The gallery represents also conceptual photographers like Matthias Koch (student of the Becher's school in Düsseldorf), Laurence Demaison (winner of the CCF price in 2002), the young Loan Nguyen and Chema Madoz.
The gallery is located in Montparnasse's district in a historical house where have been working sculptur artists like Camille Claudel and Brancusi. In the fourties, t was a place of a secret printing house of the resistance.
In this historic house, the gallery shows 6 exhibitions of photography each year, including monographes and thematic subjects.
