This auction pays tribute to Serge Aboukrat, an iconic figure in the world of art and a passionate collector. Insatiably curious and avant-garde, he forged connections between tradition and modernity, embodying the creative spirit of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Originally from Nice, he grew up in an artistic environment influenced by figures such as César, Arman, Ben, and Yves Klein. A pioneer in discovering talents like Martin Barré, he was also a trailblazer in the appreciation of contemporary photography. This auction, held with the support of his family, reflects his eclectic world, blending paintings, photographs, and avant-garde works.
