Swimming Pool is a project that Švarbová began in 2014, motivated by her search for suggestive locations and fascination for public swimming pools: their sterile and geometric beauty set the tone for these photographs.

Between June 5 and July 28, PHotoEspaña 2013, the XVI edition of the international festival of photography and visual arts, presents 74 exhibitions with works by 328 artists from 42 countries and an ample selection of public and professional activities. PHotoEspaña 2011 will take place in Madrid from June 1 to July 24. Lisbon, Cuenca, and Alcalá de Henares will also play host to the Festival. PHE05 comprises 52 exhibitions of the work of more than a hundred photographers and visual artists from 20 countries. Among the great names in this edition are Bernd and Hilla Becher, William Klein, Stan Douglas and Stephen Shore. PHotoEspaña 2004 will be inaugurated on 2 June with a total of 51 exhibitions. Important museums, exhibition centres and art galleries will participate, and, for the first time, the Prado Museum will join the Festival.
